Are They Asking Too Much?

That was really interesting. I'm not American, so it doesn't really affect me, but the values behind it make even me think!

We had police come to our door a couple of weeks ago, in the middle of the night, trying to ask for a friend of ours, who'd "gone missing". They asked to look around our property to check she wasn't there. We let them because we had nothing to hide, and were still half asleep. When telling friends about it, they've said "you shouldn't have let them in"! If I'm on my own I don't think I will in the future.

I don't have a problem with name, occupation, residence. You can guess a lot of stuff from there (income level, education level, etc.) but that's different than writing, say, that our family earns $283,043 before taxes on the form.

OK, I wish that were true. Or maybe I don't. If it were true, my husband's take-home pay would still probably be the same, and it would be very discouraging to wave all that money good-bye. :)

Hi!!! So good to hear from ya!! Kind of interesting post from me though!!! Okay yes, I believe they are too personal and that it is horrible and un-American!!!!! I am so sick of our government and could "go off" right now but will spare you!! ;) We do not have freedom like we are supposed to and our forefathers are probably looking down weeping over our country.
