Virus Troubles

Sorry I've been gone a lot. I again got the Trojan virus and I am so frustrated!! I have Norton and a good firewall yet I still got it. Lord help me before I have to drink too much coffee from the stress of it. Just kidding. It is very frustrating. I just had a big party at my house with Charles' family. I will get pics soon to share with you! It was Charles' sister's birthday. We had a really good time. Last week I had someone over every single day for a week! This week will be much calmer. I think. We'll see.

Family Visiting

My grandma, my aunt, and my cousin came out for a visit from out of state and here are some pics. I think it's cute that Ivy got attached to her older cousin. That's the first time she met him. Here's a big group pic also of my grandma's birthday party. We had a lot of fun and I was sad to see my aunt leave because she lives far and I rarely see her. Before she left, they came to my house for a visit and then went to see my sister's New York and Company Store.

Viruses

I was not blogging for a little bit because I found out I had three viruses on my computer and my internet was shut down. I then took my computer in to get them removed by a professional. Now that I have Norton and a firewall, it's already saved me from getting the same virus again. Ugh. Glad that's taken care of.

Egg Hunting on Easter Eve

We had a little get together at my mom's today. We came over to dinner, including my sister and her kids, and our friend Lola. We also had a little easter egg hunt for them and the kids had a lot of fun all playing together. They had water balloon fights, fun in the slip and slide, and played baseball. Here's a cute pic.

Pregnancy Journal

Come see my last entries in my pregnancy journal and my pregnancy reflections for the month!

Ivy Loves Dress-up

This is really cute. My friend Alice bought Ivy this for her babyshower and she just now fits it. So cute! She is so happy right now walking around with this on and her dress shoes. I hear "clack, clack, clack" around the house because she wants to wear her shoes all day. This isn't a good quality picture because I was using my camera phone.

April 2006 Flashback

Come and see what happened last year in April 2006! Lots of stuff happens in just one years time that we forget. Like Easter Egg dyeing with photos, the dullness of waiting for my house (yep, a year ago I was talking about it still), yet another McDonalds scare with Kyle, dogsitting and where Ivy learned to love animals, family fun in the park, Rawhide photos, babysitting, my nephews party photos, Rainforest Cafe photos, so much more. Okay, so I love journaling. But don't you think it's neat to track how much your life is changing, how much your little ones have grown, and how much you yourself have changed? These always remin me how little of time I have left with my small children. Before I know it they will be grown up.

Loads of Gi Joes

Since they've stopped selling our favorite Gi Joes in the stores, we've had to resort to ordering them on Ebay. The boys got a surprise box from the mailman a week ago (that's just a couple in the picture!)and the boys about had a heart attack when they pulled out all these tanks, Jets, fighters, more Gi Joes, etc. They don't know another box is coming! When we used to buy them in the store, just one tank was $30. Now you can buy a whole box of stuff. We wished we had thought of that long ago. But now they are becoming collectibles so we are stocking up before the prices go up and they are harder to get.

Fun Homemaking

Internet back up!! Yay! Anyhow, since we've moved in Charles and I had to go shopping for a new table since soon we will be a family of seven. This seats eight. That's the dining area. We bought the same version but taller and a two seater in the breakfast room plus matching bar stools for bar. We threw out all of our old furniture and just got new stuff. A patio table coming soon. The tree you see in the picture is a purple plum that blooms white flowers. However I'm gonna have my landscaper redig it back up and put a tree with green leaves instead. This one doesn't get very big and only blooms a short time once a year. I've been doing some gardening on my spare time. Love it! I have 5 more trees to plant and grass to put in backyard soon. The thing that's so awesome about owning a house and being a homemaker is that there is always so much to do. I rarely ever sit down and I'm never bored. I love always being busy whether it's with the kids, gardening, working around the house, cooking, etc,. I love being busy and that's what tortured me about living in the apartment. There was not much to do around the place. Anyhow, hope you can endure my improvement journals. When I have time, I'll tell you about the weird day I had today that put me to tears. Will share soon. Have to wash hubbies clothes right now. :o)

Moved and Lots to Do!

This isn't a very good pic. Just the kids walking around in their jammies. I found this picture on my moms computer. Sorry that I haven't written in so long! I'm having trouble getting Cox to fix my internet so I'm using my moms computer right now. I'm in my house so I'm busy, busy, busy and just loving it. Hate to sit around. I've installed 5 fans so far while Charles was at work. That's Ivy's fan you see in picture. Took me a day and a half to install all five. Of course that's because I also have four kids at home right now! : ) I've been gardening. Planting trees and flowers. Much more flowers to plant. I have about 8 more trees to plant. I threw out all my old furniture and bought new ones that I really love. Charles and I are just having so much fun having our own place. I really appreciate it after living in that apartment for a year. God has given me so much in 8 years that I feel overwhelmed by his blessings. I wish I could write again soon!
