Happy 8 year Anniversary!!!
Dear Charles,
Happy 8th anniversary. To my love, you loved me even when I was unlovable. To my friend, you listened to me when I was in tears. To the father of my children, thank you for my four beautiful blessings. To my husband, thank you for working hard so that I can stay at home. To have all of that in one person makes you a rarity these days. Who could've imagined that it was possible to find "the one" and truly know the right decision was made? You picked me when others said not to. You married me when some said we shouldn't. You showed me that I could trust you at your word to never let me down. To never break a promise. You proved that to me on December 5th, 1998. A winter day when the Christmas lights were starting to go up. When the carols were being sung. You asked me to marry you in a beautiful restaurant with the view of the city behind me at night. You didn't know but you married me in the month I always dreamt of marrying, in December. I hadn't planned it that way but I always daydreamed about a winter wedding. I love your name and you proved the meaning of your name. You are an amazing husband, father, and friend in this day in age. I'll never forget that the day after our wedding, it snowed in Scottsdale even though it's never supposed to snow and it hasn't snowed since. That year was a magical year for me, the year you gave the rest of your life to me. Every time I hold your hand, I remember the first time you held mine. Thank you for saving our first kiss for our wedding day. I love you, Charles. I can't wait for the rest of our lives.
To Martin and Maureen; thank you for helping to bring Charles and I together. Without you we wouldn't have been able to marry and for that I am truly grateful. Martin, thank you for sacrificing for us and using your hard earned money to give me a wedding I always wanted. Maureen, thank you for your time and all the love you put into everything. The planning and details. I know it was a lot of work for you and you pulled it all off so wonderfully. I couldn't of asked for a better mother and -father-in-law. I love you guys so much.
To my mom and dad; thank you for paying for our honeymoon. It was a beautiful resort and I thank you for all the last minute planning. Thank you for always being there to hear my thoughts and you've been there through my tears. Thank you for helping us with so many things throughout the 8 years. I appreciate you so much and I am forever grateful! I love you.
