Taking an Internet Fast...
I am going to go on a temporary Internet vacation starting tomorrow so I won't be posting here for a month unless I go to a library. I thought it would just be a good time to get closer to God by fasting from some of the things in my life that are a distraction to me. This is one of a few. Although, I love journaling, I think it'd be a good break. An Internet Fast if you will! I actually will be shutting off my entire Internet so I won't even have access to it nor will I have access to my email. Trust me, when my month is up I will be posting ASAP! LOL!

February Flashback
(Jodee and Ivy last year)

Come and see what was going on just a year ago this month. My sis was leaving with her family to Capetown, Lerin was having a baby shower for her newborn, and us girls facing the dreaded square dancing. Ugh. It's kind of neat to see what was happening a year ago and reflect how things have changed. For better or worse!

Puppy for a Day & Nana's House
I was taking Sugar for a walk today when this lady came out with a little puppy she was giving away. I asked if I could take him for a day. We took him home and the kids were absolutely in love with him and kept oohing and aahing. Little Puppy was cuddling up to the kid's stuffed animals and he could hardly walk. He was five weeks old and just barely weaned. We even took him with us to pick up Charles from work. Then I had to make the dreaded drive back to his owners. Of course we can't keep him because we only want another Golden Retriever or Labrador. I cried as I handed him back to the owner. Charles said, "It's a good thing you don't work at an animal shelter or you'd come home with all these dogs!".
Today Chaz had to get some lab test done so he spent the night before at nana's house. I met him today and I got this cute shot in my mom's backyard of Kyle and Ivy.

Meet New Member of Family!
Meet the newest member of our family. Sugar is our Labrador. He has golden fur and green eyes. Labs are good with kids yet can scare the bejeebies out of strangers. Just ask Jason Benninger! He can tell you a story. :D Ivy can sit on him, pull his ears, and he'll not do a thing. They are just good all around family dogs! We are excited about him and needed a dog for when we move in the new house. So, this is Sugar Revoir!
Getting Out finally At Chuck E. Cheese
Last Sunday I had to stay home with my daughter because the nursery rules are extra strict in church because of the season. Although the doctor told me she wasn't contagious, they just couldn't take her because of her runny nose so I've kept her out for a few weeks. Anyhow, yesterday I was at home and Charles called me as soon as church was over to say that we're gonna meet our friends at Chuck E. Cheese. I was like, "yes!", because I was away for so long from everyone. We met there with a some friends and we had a really good time. (After I got over some morning sickness). Finally, a miracle happened, Ivy's nose stopped running for one day and I got to go to church that night. The next day they started again. :P
Toy Shop
My family and I were browsing in a mall I used to work in and we stopped into a toy shop. We notice this wig and just had to try it on Ivy. Needless to say, it was very hard to keep on her but we got a good chuckle out of it!

Monk-E-Mail
I love this funny website my mom introduced me to where you can send messages to people through a monkey. Ryan and Chaz both sent a message to our mortgage lady with their own voices. It was so cute I had to show you. I didn't set them up to say this, I just told them to tell her something about the house. :D

"Can't wait till I move into my big house!"

"I like it when my house be really happy because my house is gonna be fixed in just a minute, so I like it. And I love you sweet Pentunia and thank you. Goodbye."

Little Cuties
I love this pic of Ivy reading a book. When she's quiet, I can almost count on seeing her sitting in a little corner reading a book. It's so cute.
This past weekend we tried to go up to Flagstaff in the snow but we couldn't because the cabin was booked. I tried to see for 2 days if there was a cancellation. I hope it keeps snowing so Charles and the kids can hit the slopes soon! I'll be standing by since I'm preggo. Nate and Mandie got to go down last Tuesday. They had a blast taking their kids down the hills. Sounds so fun!
Here is a pic of Kids Club today at the mall. Persephone has been around forever doing this show. I remember taking Chaz when he was a newborn. Chaz was actually out of school today and he was really happy to be at Kids Club. Even though he's surrounded by little tots, he still soaks it all up. :)

Baby Number 5!
Hello, a secret I've been keeping for a couple of weeks is that I am pregnant with my fifth child. Two Sundays ago, my friend walked up to me and said, "I think you're pregnant". That night I took a test just to see and sure enough I was! I told my husband that night and I thought he was gonna float in all the excitement. We thought maybe we would try in a few months after we moved in our house but I guess it's now rather than later! I am extremely excited and I can't wait to see this new little one. I didn't know my life could get any more blessed but I guess God's blessing runs over in abundance! Feel free to visit my online pregnancy journal. I will share pictures as they come. :) I absolutely love my children and every baby that comes is completely welcome as a gift from the Lord as the bible scripture states below. :)
Psalms 127:3 Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward.
