Harvest Day! (For Candy That Is)

We had a great "Harvest Day". Harvest day for Candy that is! Or you could say Halloween. Our boys dressed up as blue power ranger, red power ranger, Batman, and a Fairy. Ashley just wore pumpkin booties my friend got her. So cute. First we headed to Charles' parent's house to trick or treat in their neighborhood. Well, my kids have never trick or treated before so this was new to them. At one point when someone opened the door, Kyle just walked right in. At first when people would answer the door, Chaz or Ryan would ask if they could come in and play games or to pet their cats. It was so funny. We had to keep explaining to them that we were only there to trick or treat. After we filled up their bags, we headed to church for the Harvest Party where they play games and win prizes. All in all, it was a great night!

Day at The Lakes

Today was a really fun day at The Lakes. Poor Chaz has the flu so he had to stay with Charles and I on our date. First we walked around the corner to the Lake by my parents house. We let Hank, my dad's dog, fetch things in the water. My kids kept finding olives and other things to throw in and Hank just kept jumping in. Then Charles, Chaz, and I went to the restaurant and had fish and chips there. We headed back to get the rest of the kids so we could have them throw food to the ducks till the sun went down. So relaxing! Then we played at the playground and watched some fireworks and pushed the kids in swings. It was an all around great day!!!

Meet Our Pets!

I haven't been able to use my camera in a while but I wanted to show you pictures of our pets. We have Daisy, who is Charles' dog, our 6 month old Great Dane. She is very sweet tempered. Princess, my Chihuahua, who thinks she's Daisy's mother. Halo, our male cat, who is the calmest and most sweet cat I've ever met. He's Ryan's cat. Jasmine, our female cat with an attitude. I have to hand it to her though, she has put up with a lot. In her earlier days, she would let Ivy push her all around in her shopping cart without a fuss. She is actually Chaz's cat and when Chaz is sleeping at night, Jasmine is always laying right next to him. Then we have our two English Parakeets, Batman and Donut. They are stationed in our living room. They are sweethearts. Last but not least, is our parakeets whom Ryan named, Spongebob, Patrick, and Billy. They have some serious attitudes so they are stationed in the kids Playroom. They can hoot and holler in there all they want. Okay, enough with the intros. Just wanted you to meet the other side of our family I have never introduced you to. :o)

Happy 2nd Birthday Ivy!!

Yes her birthday was on the 20th, but I've been doing a lot of work on my computer it was down for awhile. Now I would love to share pics with you! Her party went well, it was a swimming party, so we had lots of fun. Ivy especially loved her new toys.
